Turn Criticism Into Kindness

This card is from Shine From The Inside Oracle Cards by Brittney Carmichael
Artwork by Jena Kane

From the booklet:
"The need to judge others is a dead giveaway of our own shaky self-esteem.  If you're in the habit of criticizing yourself, you'll most likely criticize others too.

When you judge your weight, you focus on the size and shape of everyone else around you and get trapped in constant comparison and criticism.

When you can accept your own flaws, you can accept the fact that others come with their own kind of crazy too.  Learning to love ourselves extends our compassion to others.

Affirmation:  I turn my judgment into celebration and criticism into kindness."
------

Sometimes people confuse being honest with being petty or judgy.  There is a difference between "calling a spade a spade", calling out weird or toxic behavior, and being defensive and projecting issues onto someone.

For me this card came up on a day when an unexpected opportunity to share my side of the story concerning the breakup with a mutual friend.
I had been friends with two other people for about ten years and we were a trio.  Long story short, I had a heart-to-heart conversation with one of them that resulted in us parting ways.  The other friend, who woke up to the news that the trio was now broken, listened to the one who I had the heart-to-heart with and told me that she couldn't be friends with me anymore because whatever I had said upset the other one so much that I must be in the wrong.  Then over a year later she started talking to me again but said she never wanted to know what happened between me and the other person.

The day I pulled this card she asked me some questions about this past event.  I found myself speaking more from my higher self about the situation and I was able to turn criticism into something that was able to honor everyone in the situation.

What I have found about this deck is that, if you use it as a way to get a head's up about the energies of the day or the energies around a situation, it will guide you as to how to handle what is about to happen. Or in my case, it validated how I handled the unexpected situation.

I would highly recommend this deck for "foreshadowing messages."  Even though it is under the category of Self Care I have found this deck gives solid higher-self level guidance about experiences that are about to unfold.

If this card came up in a reading for someone else I would say that they should be prepared for some unexpected question about something from the past or something that is personal.  I would say that your higher-self can navigate you through this conversation so that your words are from a thoughtful and self-empowering place.  For example, maybe you meet someone new who asks you about your divorce or they ask you something that they don't know is a little emotional trigger for you.

I hope that everyone is having a beautiful day,
Love,

Stay Away From Drama Today

This card is from:
Shine From The Inside Oracle Cards by Brittney Carmichael
Artwork by Jena Kane

From the booklet:
"Do yourself a favor and stay away from drama today.

It's easy to get sucked into the chaos of others through the ever-changing landscape of social media.  If you've been finding yourself in comparison syndrome or surrounded by negativity, it's time to detox from the drama.

To protect your energy you must spend some alone time to regenerate your energy.  You can spend time in nature to restore your connection to vital life force energy, soak in a hot salt bath, or get quiet in a relaxing meditation.

It's important you take a little #youtime today.  If you've pulled this card, it's time to withdraw from the drama of others and reconnect with yourself.
They say the 5 closest people that you surround yourself with contribute to your quality of life.  Take a moment and reflect on who you spend your time with and how they make you feel.

Do they bring out the best in you or do they drain you and bring you down?
You have the personal power to choose who you connect with.

Affirmation:  I am in charge of how I spend my time, and today I choose to be drama free.

----

Hello Divine Friends,
So for me, this card is resonating with how drained I've been feeling lately but it's because I was Vitamin D deficient and that was making me feel chronic fatigue symptoms and headaches.  Yesterday I bought some Vitamin D and have been feeling more like myself however I do feel like I would love to have a break from my life and be completely alone for a weekend.  I can't see how that would happen anytime soon since I have animals that need daily consistent care and I am the caretaker to my autistic young adult daughter who basically needs 24/7 supervision.

As far as drama goes, I have been noticing that drama is kicking up in the lives of the people around me so I try and remember to be there for myself too as well as others.

If drama is draining you then I ask for Archangel Michael to clear the negative energies from around you and reset you back to your Divine Blueprint.  This card could also be a sign to the Lightworkers out there that they need some solitude you are going through a vibrational shift or parallel reality shift and you need the time alone to process this energy change.

I hope that you are having a beautiful day,
Love,
Jackie G
